Catchpole Court Care Home

Good place to work, good management, and staffs. No racism, we see ourselves as one. I am happy assisting my service users with the care they need because they are lovely and they make me happy always.

Unfortunately I live 4 hours away so I rely on contacting my mother by phone, its absolutely appalling, the amount of times Im asked to call back or no one picks up the phone and today Ive called 3 times but they have someone taking calls but doesnt know how to transfer the call to another wing.

If able I would give LESS than 1 star... a shocking disgrace! I would strongly recommend not using this care home.. Appalling management, appalling staff, and absolutely shocking standards.. If CQC really knew what was going on, no doubt would be closed down! Patients left in bed, rough handling, NO COMPASSION!!

My father is currently residing in catchpole court and he loves it there. Very friendly staff, fantastic activities, very good food dealing with specific diets. Lovely rooms and grounds

My nan was always left in bed, they never got her up. NO activies, left to rot in her room. She was fed laying down with her food tray on her chest, nobody sat her up, when I found her trying to eat one day laying down, I asked somebody to sit her up so she could eat properly, was meet with signs and eye rolling they eventually did, but i felt so bad as she was rocketed up at such speed, with no warning, it scared the life out of her. My nan Never dressed, no bra ever. It wasn't the dignity she deserved. She lasted 3 months there. The icing on the cake was someone siponed her bottle of sherry and replaced it with gloopy old water. If you care for your loved one, don't send them here. I wouldnt even give 1 star but had no choice.
