I went yesterday with a bar code for a prescription. The guy at the counter said my number was wrong and send my again to the surgery. Nevertheless, I went after that to Boots and the staff in there ask me for my NHS number and name and solve the trouble in minutes. I didnt see the willingness of the guy to help me, probably because they were about to close but definitely I will prefer Boots now to do my shopping because of that.

A nice bright modern branch of Superdrug with a pharmacy at the rear of the store. Superdrug has changed a lot over the years from being a bit of a discounter of good which is where I think it's lost its edge somewhat. Staff were friendly, store was well stocked with goods, reasonable prices but not blow away.
