My review relates only to out-of-warranty visits. One of my blinds was inoperative and was diagnosed over the 'phone as having a faulty wind sensor I was told that CB will no longer supply this sensor and was given a choice of going elsewhere or having the sensor removed so that the blind will operate but with no wind protection I chose the latter so as to avoid difficulty regarding diagnosis of any future problem and whose equipment might be faulty. At no time was I advised that the work might take less than 1/2 hour I was required to pay 300.00 + VAT in advance before an appointment would be offered. This I did, the engineer came and removed the sensor and reprogrammed the handsets. He was on site for less than 24 minutes! NO parts or materials were used! I realise that overheads, such as transport, travel time, training, administration and expertise have to be factored in, but I complained because I feel that the charge was HIGHLY excessive I was told that the charge would NOT have been any higher if the engineer HAD been on site for longer!!! Subsequently I was told I would be given a "gift" (worth 30), which I declined. Following the exchange of several emails I was subsequently told that 60 would be credited to my account, and it was clear to me that our conversation was at an end! I would simply say BUYER BEWARE!

Unfortunately my first awning colour choice was unavailable after booking and when the fitters came to fit the awning one of the brackets was facing the wrong way. HOWEVER it is March and they came back ASAP so I didnt miss anything, were very professional and the substitute fabric is very nice. Would very much recommend the company.

Like most things, they are good at the start but soon loose interest once project is complete and problems occur.
