        Is this the pond at Sudborough located above the road bridge across the meadow? If it is, I would love to know more about its history. I believe it was called The Devils Kitchen or The Devils Cauldron, and was a favourite local carp lake, fished by author BB who lived in Sudborough. I visited the water a few years back and found it fenced off from the public completely. Very sad..

        Years ago this was a brilliant place to bring the family and fish. The owner Sergio who has bought it over the past 15years. Has let it get into really bad disrepair. The water is low. Water green and loads of scum on top. Does not look as if there are any fish left. The only thing the new owner has done is strim outside of the main pond and park a caravan there. What an absolute waste.
