        I'm fascinated by the 'ghost' of early churches in the fabric of current ones, so this one was a joy to visit. There's been a church on this site back to Saxon times. This church 'ticks' too - from a clock dating back to 1740 set into the tower. In a small and pretty village with easy parking on the road outside.
