Just returned from the old brick pits on a short weekend stay in one of their lodges and I have to say the lodge was very comfortable and had everything you needi did fish three hours on each day the weather was very cold but the fishing was very enjoyable on the first day I realised I didnt have the tackle I needed so went out and bought some bits and pieces I had bite after bite missed many but caught several carp not huge up to 8-9 lb but very enjoyable Im going back with more appropriate tackle when the weather is better
