Ecco Stove

We had our Ecco stove installed just before Christmas, and it's been brilliant. It's in a large room with high ceilings and that room still stays warm overnight, and heat flows to much of the house (the heat map we were given before buying was quite accurate). We had ours installed with a back boiler to power a small radiator in the kitchen, which helps as well. The radiator is not boiling hot, but doesn't need to be. Worlds of difference between this and a traditional wood stove which burns hot then goes cold right away. Delighted to have made this investment.

As owners of a large, draughty and damp Victorian house we were looking for a wood burning stove that would warm the whole house and help us reduce the humidity which was causing so much internal damage. The Ecco Stove stood out as fulfilling all our criteria. The fitting was not without a few issues such as a faulty fitting ash pan and an air vent which let in too much air; however Ecco Stove came out and fixed everything quickly and efficiently. We opted for the catalytic converter and the baffle in the ashpan which improved how the stove worked for us. We have been using the stove now for two winters and can say that their marketing is accurate. With the doors left open to every room of the house and the stove ticking over for most of the day, the heat from the stove warms the whole house. Even the out of the way rooms on the upstairs. Not only that but the humidity dropped by a minimum of 30% across the house which is better than we ever experienced when we relied upon the central heating. Due to the damp in the house we have temperature and humidity meters in every room and the readings are very impressive. Recently we broke one of the fire bricks inside and a replacement has been sent out the same day. I cannot fault the product or the company and would highly recommend this stove.

We're so pleased with our beautiful new Ecco Stove! It uses about half the amount of wood and seems to put out twice as much heat as our previous wood burner. The installation service was amazing, with great instructions & detail on how to use the stove most effectively. Many thanks

This is more than a wood burner. It is suitable as supplementary or alternative as a heating source. The heat pumped out for hours after the fire has gone out flows through the house. The 678 has performed well in a two week cold spell and kept our Edwardian house warm and cosy. Stuart and Cheryl Weaver.

Our stove exceeded all expectations. We were lucky enough to have an initial site survey carried out by the Managing Director, who very confidently drew a heat map of the ground floor (our cafe) and upstairs floor (retail and offices), stating that every room would be heated (providing the doors are open of course). Bearing in mind that in the cold spells prior to the stove being fitted, we struggled to heat the building with a number of electric heaters, this stove has created more consistent warmth within a couple of hours of being lit. It really is incredible. Not only is the design unique and attractive, this is a highly cost effective and sustainable means of heating a building without having to rely on gas or electricity. Everyone is warm and every person who walks past the stove wants to talk about it and learn about it. This stove is a work of genius and I cannot recommend enough.
