Awesome overnight stay venue, superb hospitality

Two friends and I stayed at Jelley Legs (excellent name!) for one night, March 2022. Its location is perfect for a stopover for those cycling the Way of the Roses over 2 days as we were. Jelley Legs is situated in a lovely, peaceful village right next to Studley Royal Deer Park. Dave and Damaris were wonderful hosts. Dave made us feel instantly welcome. My friend and I stayed in Rose Cottage (clean, warm and very cosy) and my other friend stayed in the garden room, a delight also. We had a superb evening meal cooked by Dave and Damaris which I can't rate highly enough. Delicious and plentiful- we were rather hungry after 74 miles cycling. We had a tasty and healthy breakfast the following morning, home made museli, fresh fruit and yoghurt, toast plus plenty of tea and coffee and home made apple juice (the nicest I've ever tasted) Dave was knowledgeable about the local area and was very interesting to chat to. I would definitely recommend Jelley Legs to others and would really like to stay here again.

This is a beautiful and amazing place to stay. Beautiful house, garden and surrounding countryside, with stunning views. l stayed in the lovely garden room, which was extremely comfortable. Dave and Damaris were excellent hosts who made delicious food. We had great chats. I'll be back soon!

Lovely place to stay while cycling The Way of the Roses. Everything was amazing, perfect hosts, lovely garden. We even had time to visit the Fountains Abbey close by, absolutely stunning ! Wonderful time here !
