I have used Phil Surridge Limited on numerous occasions and have always been very impressed by the standard of the work done by the company. Phil has undertaken small and large projects for me and has always completed on time and on budget. He is reliable and totally trustworthy and he has a wealth of experience in the building trade. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to other people, and indeed have.

Phil Surridge is an excellent builder. He managed and carried out an extensive project for me some years ago. He also came out on several occasions when I needed help to address building problems with a listed building. He has a jolly personality and is very easy to work with. He also has very good ideas and an eye for detail. I would not hesitate to ask him to do building work for me again in the future.

I am absolutely delighted by the work Phil has carried for me; he cleared ground, replaced fencing, designed and beautifully landscaped the rear of my property and met my incredibly specific request (a wire-enclosed pergola to function as a secure area for an indoor cat) to transform my garden to a beautiful and idyllic space. I could not be happier with the results, or with how Phil worked, being punctual, clean and tidy, checking in as things progressed and thinking creatively to realise the vision I had in my head. I simply cannot wait to spend time in my garden, and would recommend Phil to all friends and family.

I found Phil to be a professional builder that has great attention to detail. He and his team totally renovated my 3 bedroom house into a contemporary 4 bedroom. Being an older property in need of modernisation, it could have spiralled out of control, but Phil was mindful of the costs and kept me informed at every stage offering options if possible. He was sympathetic to the age of the house and managed to restore and retain original features like the 1960s floating staircase , mantelpiece and fire surround. He even managed to adapt an ex display kitchen that I had bought. This was the icing on the cake for me.
