Peel House Nursing Home

Comment: I am so indebted to the care team and management for the genuine love, care, and respect they give to my mother and father. I feel so reassured that they have my parents' needs in hand even going above and beyond their call of duty. My sister and I have been continuously supported in every way to make our parents' admission and stay a pleasant, calm and peaceful experience, even tending to their pastoral needs. We both genuinely feel the home is run with complete respect, safeguarding and patient-centred care as a top priority. The way the recent covid outbreak was dealt with was swift and immediate, emailing family members about the situation and keeping them up-to-date with changes. Hence cases were isolated and the home continued to run as smoothly as ever. I highly recommend this home to anyone who wants the best care for a loved one. Thank you to all staff at Peel House who are clearly natural carers, passionate about making residents feel like a home-from-home experience, alleviating stresses and worries for us family members. The staff are so clearly happy in this environment which having myself worked in a care home environment is mainly down to the way the home is run by management. Although our Mum was not in the care of Peel House for very long, the care she received during that time was outstanding. She was treated with such kindness and respect and her needs were totally met. We could not have wished for a better place for Mum to spend her last weeks. Amazing staff, trustworthy, kind and sympathetic. Dad loves all the staff and it's reassuring knowing that he is been looked after to the highest standard. Thank you.

We as a family are so happy with how our Dad is being cared for. The love and care that is given to all residents is beautiful. Dad is so happy here and there are so many new and refreshing ideas for activities we love it! Families are always warmly welcomed and need of residents fully met. Thank you for looking after Dad and making him feel very at home.

Dad moved to Peel House after a difficult experience at a different care home. Before we accepted the place we were impressed by the caring attitude of the staff. And that never changed. When Dad didnt know who we were they were wonderful in introducing us in a way that helped him but didnt make him feel stupid. When Dad died unexpectedly (from natural causes) the staff were as upset as we were and were wonderful in supporting Mum. During Dads time at Peel house he was happy and settled snd we couldnt ask for better care. Thank you
