Great Memorial on the former RAF Strubby . Lots of buildings of the wartime period left to see probably one of the most interesting sites to see to get an idea of the basic facilities those brave men had to put up with alongside the high mortality rates of the actual bombing raids .

Site of historic interest, with intact former RAF WWII buildings. This was a former bomber command air field. The original control tower has been converted into a private dwelling. Part of the original runway still exists.
