We've employed Neil's services twice now for full surveys. On both occasions we have found Neil to be extremely thorough in his assessments. Reports are detailed and easy to understand, and the inclusion of images act as a great visual reminder of the property. Neil also took the time to explain things verbally to us when we had questions, and this helped us to make important decisions with confidence. Neil is straightforward to deal with and extremely knowledgeable. We wouldn't hesitate to use his services again and recommend him to our family and friends.

We engaged Emerald Ritter Suveyors to guide us through serving a Party Wall Act Notice for works to an annex being renovated on a party wall with our neighbours. From initial consultation, site visits through to conclusion, Neil has been professional, unbiased and most importantly has an excellent knowledge of the law regarding Party Wall Act notices and disputes. He has patience, diligence and has answered endless questions from us regarding the process. Neil always explained the law & the process so that both sides of the fence knew where they stood at all times. We would use Emerald Ritter Surveyors again for sure.

Emerald Ritter Surveying arbitrated over a party wall dispute between me and my neighbour. Their lack of empathy for the impact their decision has made on my family has left me pretty disgusted.

Neil was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, stupendously thorough, very generous in taking the time to explain the whole process beforehand and to talk through the results in person. Did an excellent drone roof survey too, with a report that carefully highlighted and explained all the issues found. Suggested I wait until after the survey to decide whether to commission a further costings report, wise advice since in the end it wasn't needed. Honest, thorough, helpful - I couldn't have asked for anything better.
