As six hungry golfers we dined here on a trip to the Cotswolds. Exemplary service was matched by the quality of the food. The friendly owners (and also head chef) regaled us with stories, explaining each menu option in entertaining detail. Locals in the cosy and traditional bar area were also full of bonhomie.

A last minute decision for an early Saturday evening birthday meal with 2 friends And what a perfect decision if was The fires were lit and the welcome was warm for us and our 2 dogs The menu catered for a varied choice, fish, meat and veggie. The choice of starters were lush and the steaks with choice of sauces were amazing The food was second to none and it was lovely to meet the chef as he made time to come out and check we were happy with our food, nice touch, but, one that is rare to experience. The puddings were to die for A lovely evening full stop If you are thinking about trying it then go for it I guarantee you will not be disappointed Thank you for a lovely evening from start to finish

Busy little traditional pub with roaring fire and very friendly staff. We stopped off for an early evening drink and had to drag ourselves away from the convivial atmosphere. Good beer and food on offer.
