    Really impressed with the service from all at Cotswold Energy Group. They explained the process in clear terms and provided a detailed quote. I was incredibly impressed with how responsive the team were and how quickly they were able to provide an installation. The site team were friendly, professional and finished the job quickly. The whole experience was smooth and painless - and I'm already seeing the energy savings from our solar + battery installation. Couldn't be happier, would definitely recommend.

    We asked CEG to design and install a new ASHP system, which they did without major incident. They helped us to navigate some of the more complex issues and avoided it feeling like a hard sell. The installation team were courteous and friendly and responded to changes where they came up. It's a big investment so their skill and confidence helped in reducing the stress. We also used CEG for a full rewire of the building following the the install which was completed with equal care and attention.

    Cotswold Energy Installed our Air Source Sump last year connecting it to existing underfloor heating and radiators and replacing our old hot water tank. From start to finish Tom and his staff were professional designing and specifying an installation which has proven to be excellent, providing us with a lovely warm house. The specification has proved to be perfect with the installation carried out professionally on time and budget. Twelve months on Cotswold Energy have just carried out our annual service to the same high standards. We can thoroughly recommend Cotswold Group.

    Its the first time Ive left a negative review for a company, which I do not do lightly. However, we had such a poor experience with Cotswold Energy I feel obligated to warn others. We entered into a contract with Cotswold Energy to supply and install an air source heat pump and underfloor heating system at our property. The positive reviews were one of the reasons we decided to employ Cotswold Energy but unfortunately we were severely let down by their capabilities and attitude. There were changes in key staff involved with our project with apparently no handover as we received conflicting information from different colleagues regarding details of our project. Problems were exacerbated by the fact that they employed a subcontractor for an important aspect of the work. We did not receive any written plans of the system or any written specifications for the expected preparatory work. The assigned project manager - who was also one of the company directors - did not appear to have any detailed knowledge about the specifics of our job and seemed unaware of aspects that we had discussed with other colleagues. He seemed to rely on the guidance of their unreliable subcontractor for direction. The situation led to a disagreement between us and ultimately we had to employ a new company to complete the work. The attitude of the management in dealing with our complaints was dismissive, rude and unhelpful. The company was unwilling to admit any fault and continually tried to shift blame for their mistakes onto us, despite the fact that they had failed to adhere to the renewable energy consumer code and the agreed contract. Our experience with Cotswold Energy has caused us unnecessary stress and delays and we would strongly advise anyone looking to install a renewable heating system to avoid this company.
