Oh dear, where do I begin with my review of the Stroud Job Center? As a person of refined taste and sophistication, I was utterly appalled by my recent visit to this establishment. First and foremost, the odor that permeated the air was positively repulsive. It was as if a herd of unwashed peasants had been allowed to roam freely in the building, leaving their unmistakable stench in every corner. I had to pinch my nose just to avoid gagging. And don't even get me started on the decor. The drab and dreary walls were adorned with posters that looked like they had been printed on a cheap printer from the 1980s. The furniture was equally as outdated, with a hodgepodge of mismatched chairs and desks that looked like they had been salvaged from a junkyard. The staff was no better. They were rude, unhelpful, and lacked any semblance of professionalism. I was made to feel like an inconvenience, as if I was wasting their precious time. It was as if they thought they were above helping me, a person of higher social standing. In short, the Stroud Job Center is a dreadful place that should be avoided at all costs. The smell alone is enough to make one's stomach turn, and the staff and decor are equally as unpleasant. I would rather be caught dead than be seen in such a squalid and uncivilized environment.

I'm sure some of the people here are good, but during my time I got 0 help finding a job, only made to spend my limited money coming in for them to say "ok" and that was it, never reply to notes or offer any help

My "work mentor" Des has been absolutely outstanding in his support for me while I am sadly on long term sick. He is brilliant and we are really lucky to have people like him working at Stroud Jobcentre. I miss working so much and Des has been one of the people that has made this whole difficult experience bearable.
