This place is just about ridiculous. Craig who I dealt with was fantastic but then it went down really badly with Emma. Who the hell support euthanasia and talk about it openly in front of a grieving partner. And top it all off the attitude I got of her yesterday over the phone asking where my partner ashes was. Dignity - should be change to disgusting! She should be sack and I will be leaving reviews everywhere. Avoid this place.

I would like to thank all at Phillip Ford and Son for the way they handled the funeral arrangements of my Mother, Cherie Richards. First of all Craig who was extremely kind and helpful and made some great suggestions on things like music and venues that proved very successful. Then when Craig had to take time off work, Emma took over and was also very professional and helpful and there was a smooth handover from Craig. Then on the day of the funeral, Dean and the team were fantastic in arranging the whole day and were always very attentive to our every needs. Phillip Ford and Son are a very professional company and I highly recommend them. Thank you once again.

I had the devastating and sudden loss of my partner. No one prepares you for this and having never dealt with such a traumatic loss, I was and still am very lost and confused. Philip Ford & Son Funeral Directors were brilliant. They helped us as a family and me as he's partner get through this terrible time with consideration and dignity. Thank you for looking after us Riann, you were amazing! No one wants to go through this but your help was invaluable and very much appreciated.

I cannot fault the way in which my Wife's funeral was conducted by Philip Ford & Son. Their arranger, Riann, supported me through what was a very difficult and emotional time. In my view, endorsed by my family, Riann went above and beyond what one might expect of a funeral director and has continued to offer that support since the funeral, and I sincerely thank her. I have no hesitation in recommending Philip Ford & Son to help and guide anyone through what is such a difficult time in one's life.

I've not had experience of any other funeral directors, but Riann and the team at Philip Ford were nothing but professional and dignified throughout. I don't see how the process could have been made any smoother, so would definitely recommend the company for other Stroud-based arrangements.
