A really great product - all the benefits of breathable lime while being user friendly to novices and quick drying. Well be using this again in our renovation!

My plasterer loved the ease with which Breathaplasta can be applied in comparison to traditional lime plaster. The plaster dries a very attractive mottled, pale grey so we have left it unpainted on the walls, and are just painting the ceilings white in breathable clay paint, to ensure we keep all the benefits of the plaster. It is great that this plaster insulates the walls and also regulates the moisture in a house, preventing damp.

We decided to use Adaptavates Breathaplasta which is a lime and hemp based plaster for the 1st floor walls of our cottage renovation. We wanted a breathable lime type plaster rather than gypsum cement type due to the solid stone wall construction of the property. Traditional lime plaster would have likely cost significantly more (in labour) and taken longer. The plasterers got on well with it after a bit of practice. Happy with the finish. Owen from Adaptavate was very helpful and supportive, which makes a big difference when trying out a new product. I would use again. One suggestion - would be helpful if they could offer larger bags/bulk system for large scale projects, to improve economy of scale.
