Louise E Hubbard Photography Coach

My partner and me, met Louise at the Motney Hill Nature Reserve on the Bank of the River Medway, just to the north of Rainham in Kent on 9th September, 2020, for a sunset photography session. Louise kindly postponed the session from last month, due to my elderly father having a fall. Both of us found Louise helpful and informative. We were blessed by excellent September weather and a fantastic photographic location. We would both recommend Louise as a tutor for future events. Sean and Sasi.

We had a really fun morning with Louise who took us on a circular walk of Rochester, via the well known landmarks and lesser known little hidden treasures. Throughout the tour we were taught how to use our smartphones to achieve really wonderful photographs. She covered composition, leading lines, the rule of thirds, lighting, shadows and colour. As a professional photographer Louise does this walk for people with real cameras too, but us happy snappers were delighted with her creative tips and tricks to get the most out of our phones.

I recently did Louise's course on "Adobe Photoshop Editing Workshop for Mastering Layers". I have played around a little bit with layers in the past but I'm self taught and struggle with certain concepts. Louise's lesson filled in the gap's I had and so I'm now more confident to move forwards. Her style of teaching is very relaxed with plenty of time to ask questions. I'm really pleased to have taken her course and would recommend it to anyone that is not very confident with layers.

Had a great 2 hour 1 to 1 with Louise wandering around with our cameras and for me taking for the first-time photos to be proud of. I had all the gear but no idea, and she taught me not only what all the buttons do on my DSLR but how to apply them. It was a real epiphany and I now have both the confidence and enthusiasm to use my camera properly. Ive still got loads to learn and will be returning for more tuition but at least now I wont be embarrassed by the quality of my photos.
