Having used our local flooring store before we wanted to use them for our new kitchen flooring. Having received their quote I checked with other suppliers and found them the most reasonable. This suited our budget so we went ahead and booked it in. When the fitter came to prep the floor the following day we received a phone call from the owner telling us the measurements were taken incorrectly and so we needed to pay him more money so he could order the shortfall. I was pretty upset by this as this meant the quotation Id used in budget planning was incorrect. We had little choice but to acquiesce though as the floor was mostly boarded out in readiness. On installation the fitter missed a section but didnt explain to my husband why. This section got missed as it was too uneven, a fact we couldve remedied in a timely fashion if it had been communicated to us. He said hed return once the cabinets were in to complete, this wasnt what wed paid for so was not acceptable. When I contacted the owner he kept speaking over me and not allowing me to explain the problem, he insisted on me giving him my husbands number as he didnt want to deal with me. He was defensive and rude, telling me not to treat him as though he was my husband. I was offended and upset. He did not accept that there was any fault and claimed the fitter had a reason to do as he did. Overall weve paid a great deal of money for a floor Im not completely happy with. The owner does not handle things well when they go wrong.

Excellent well stocked showroom, very helpful attentive advice with no pressure. We got a good quote compared to other shops. The carpet fitter Craig was brilliant assessed job prior to doing came and did a lovely job of fitting a tricky stripped carpet on landing and stairs in old house. We are very pleased and would. definitely recommend .

Chose flooring last week in shop. Polite young Guy came & fitted on time Monday morning. Boarded bathroom floor then fitted vinyl. Competetive price & very pleased with the service. Thankyou Sue Altrincham

Great local carpet company. Long established in Stretford. Ben & his team are efficient & turnaround things quickly. The cost is reasonable & they have a clean/tidy showroom with lots of choice but not too much that its overwhelming.
