I joined this dentist yesterday and was seen first thing this morning. Reception staff are lovely and dentist did an amazing job and made me feel at the ease after a long time away from a dentist. Would highly recommend thank you so much to everyone at poppies dental but big thank you to the lady who did my teeth! Fab!

Rang to make an appointment and was told I was no longer registered as it had been more than 12 months since my last appointment. Bit confused as i've not been in 12 month intervals for nearly a decade now and it's never been a problem before (and never was it mentioned that this is now a new requirement, nor had it been mentioned at all during my 20 year time with this practice. And nothing said about the fact lockdown may have impacted this). Also unsure as to why I was told there was no waiting list available to rejoin but the Facebook page says there is. I was in the process of trying treatment for teeth sensitivity but as Poppies is no longer my dentist unsure how to proceed with the results. Receptionist advised it was my responsibility to keep up with appointments which I'm not sure makes sense given that the treatment was on the dentist's recommendation (I was actually against it as I couldn't really afford it and was sure it wouldn't work, but went through with it anyway. And now I can't even talk to the dentist about it. Money well spent...) Staff nice enough, transparency and communication extremely poor. Keep on smiling!

As an elderly lady with severe breathing problems and a pathological fear of dentists, I feared the worst when I needed to receive treatment. All my fears have been dissipated, the treatment I received (involving drill work) was painless, speedy and stress-free. My comfort was a major consideration at all times. I have many health issues (including deafness) and all attention was paid to factoring in these setbacks. The dentist was infinitely reassuring throughout and executed my drilling and filling with speed and efficacy. The nurses also could not have been more comforting and efficient. I can only say that such exemplary treatment has allayed my deep-seated fear of dental work. I can reiterate that I would recommend Poppies Dental to any and everybody, especially those with a phobia of dentists. Top marks to all involved.
