Booked in for Sunday lunch for 4 on recommendation. Good welcome. Young staff were very efficient and friendly, particularly Katie. Very promp service. Superb lunch. Well done and thanks to all at the R O. Keith Rudyard

Bit chilly to start with (woodburner needed repair, apparently), but we had a very good lunch, served v promptly by friendly landlord, despite staffing problems. Tasty food at a reasonable price. Would happily recommend.

The Sunday Roast is always spot on! The concept of a sharing board/platter works well and makes this place unique. Consistent food and service and thoroughly enjoy coming here. We wish this place was nearer to home so we could walk! A good sized beer garden with plenty of tables and an element of cover. Keep up the good work and would highly recommend this place to anyone. Have visited again but on a different day to a Sunday and must say we were really impressed! The food was extremely good, service spot on and the team very friendly and receptive. Still walked away (well cycled) thinking we wish this place was nearer to us.... Although I'm pretty sure my partner would say different as I'd be here as much as possible! Please support this lovely local and ensure it remains for generations to come!
