Understandably after a new owner taken over doesnt cut the cloth as the previous owners you ask for support in jobs, places and locations no one gets back to you. The new owner Stuart Edwards doesnt have any empathy towards we who have been working for nursing 2000 for years, theres nothing but bad vibes. You have to do all the chasing for an update , its clear as day they are not interested in supporting us , the previous director made you feel good, any issues they would pick the phone and listen to the issue with an instant action to helping and resolving You get nothing , waste of space. All the old staff are leaving . Surprise!

I worked for Nursing 2000 back in 2014 and they were great. I received a phone call several weeks ago telling me they had some positions that matched my CV. I was perplexed to be offered staff nurse positions in nursing homes when I am at Matron Level. Attention to detail is lacking, its obvious they are just looking at nurses as a number to fill a gap. Shocking turn for this agency that used to be well respected.

Stay away from this agency, they are not honest and are lacking of transparency. I started my registration process more than a month ago I provided all the documentation straight away and I told them that I wasnt on the DBS update so I was going to require a new DBS( I have one that is still valid, but they want you to be on the DBS update). They said multiple time that it wasnt a problem. I have completed all the documentation, tests, forms ( which took me probably 2 full days to complete as they have a very large amount of forms compared to other agencies). After i completed all the documentation they decided to say that I have to pay them to request a DBS which is 50 + the price of enrolling on the update service. The price is not the problem, but all other agencies will not ask you to pay for it. What it really upset me is that they made me loose 2 days ++ to complete all the documentation to tell me that I have to pay for the DBS when they were aware from day 1. There are thousands of agency out there, find one that is transparent and respectful of your time.

Awful place to work. Directors are always unavailable being on holiday. So called "senior staff member" lady L. is taking charge then, but she actually knows nothing about the business so everyone is on their own there. Be careful - if she doesn't like you she will make up a story about you and you get fired without any notice. Also company doesn't pay on time regarding contract agreement and doesn't pick up the phone whenever there's need to sort things up. 3x no. I've never meet anything like that here in UK.
