A really special place and a proper hidden gem. Feasting for the soul and the eyes. Enjoy, but don't tell everyone ;)

Lovely small remnant of the Great North Woods on the old Unigate Dairy site, with a great view over London from the top south west corner in winter. It's a lovely oasis for nature with biodiversity interest through all the seasons, but beware of slippery muddy paths when it's been raining. Look out for the old dairy paving slabs, which move round the paths for use as stepping stones. It might be small, but it's packed with character and well worth a visit.

Unigate Woods is a local gem - a very special spot in the most unlikely of places!

A snippet of ancient forest in suburbia. Great for a quick stroll to forget you are in the city and see the trees through the seasons.
