Blackbird Bakery

Great place for a cake and a tea/coffee. Would recommend the lime and pistachio, ginger and chocolate cakes! Staff always super friendly and helpful during the week. Several tables and booths to sit at plus space enough to get in with a pram (door is wide enough and locks open). Little bit pricey but nice to be away from the big chains.

Nice community bakery serving a selection of sweet and savoury bakes and snacks - hot chocolates are tasty (offering sweet or bitter). Welcoming spot for family, friends catch up or place to read and enjoy the world go by.

Can't say this was the best day for Blackbird. The barista randomly served the person who came after me first. Just left me standing there. There was no one else waiting. Because she'd done that, she ran out of steamed milk half way through pouring my flat white. She steamed up more milk but scorched it and then overfilled the half-full cup. It was not nice.
