This place is a little gem in Streatham and has a great menu. However, there is a fundamental problem with their staff and poor service - its hit or miss and sadly nearly always a miss. Once they take your order, and you have paid, they take far too long to make your hot drinks. Normally because the staff are too engrossed with their own conversation. For example, on Saturday I ordered and paid for a flat white. The girl making the drinks (pink short hair and nose ring) only had mine left to make, but obviously her shift ended so she just stopped and left, after saying goodbye to her colleagues! Another girl took over, but at the same time her friend (the guy with the long earring) came back on shift. They were busy talking which means she made the drinks with the wrong milk!! No apology, urgency or recognition that I had already been waiting for around 10 mins!! When I finally got my drink it was bitter and luke warm!! This place is obviously over pricey, however, you don't begrudge that if service is good and its not. On Saturday, it would have been quicker for me to walk to the petrol station down the road, get a Costa express from the machine (and it probably would have tasted better) and walked back to the rookery. This place has lots of potential, but they need to sort it out. I remember this place when it was a cafe - iron seats in the front, polystyrene cups and instant nescafe. Basic, but top service.

NO CASH !?! Hi managment! I never know the UK gov decided to cut off the cash from the pubblic commercial cafes or your is a private membership place? Maybe is a lack of mathematics skills in order to count the pound or is a discriminatory position that you are taken in your club? Ohh no! Are you scare to touch a money virus! I wish more people has a common sense and boycott them! Shame of you !
