Starbucks

It being so large is the best thing about it. But the seating is truly awful. Incredibly low, uncomfortable chairs and tables. Unnatural to sit at. It must be a tactic so people dont stay too long. I really hope they improve this most of all, but suspect they (management) wont or arent allowed. Its a bit dirty too, but thats just because the poor staff are so busy, particularly with delivery orders. I really hope theyre compensated well. Also the lighting along the right hand side shines directly into the faces of the people sitting against the wall. The coffee cups are ridiculously too big and heavy, which make them uncomfortable to hold. And I think always too milky because of the size of the mugs. I dislike the wooden spoons in my hot drink, too, but I think might be an autistic thing. It cant be to prevent waste, right? Since the wooden spoons are still disposable. Id rather normal crockery. Ordering is awkward too. Collecting it yourself but they never asked for my name or gave a number or anything. I kept going back up as my coffee order was very general and got confused with another, and my food was pastry at a different time. I didnt want to leave my bag and coat, or otherwise lose my seat and table.

This Starbucks is quite large it gets pretty busy with people working or studying. Sometimes, you can barely get a seat for paying customers. And it's very untidy the tables need cleaning the floor need cleaning. Parking on the side road.

As usual, a great atmosphere for study/work. But the chairs and tables at this branch are not really comfortable or suitable for laptops usage. I didn't try sitting in the shared tables which seemed more suitable but were a bit crowded. The two other tables I tried were not that great, the height of the tables and chairs is not ideal. Apart from that, Starbucks is my favourite place to study and the sugar oat shaken espresso was amazing.
