Saxon Arms

It is my sisters favourite place to eat so what a great place to surprise her on her 65th birthday meal with her husband and mother in law. We arrived early to dress the table and the cake was taken to the kitchen for after dessert. The meal was amazing and great portion size too so when the cake finally arrived it was enough to have that slither and take the rest home. Duncan the staff member was our waiter, barman and general bring out the cake man so his service was 100% and the event went off without a hitch. Well worth the visit and would recommend a return.

We had a lovely meal at the Saxon Arms today. The food was freshly cooked and really tasty. All the staff were really friendly. Thank you guys, we will be back again next time we are in the area

Good food, friendly team who found room for us on a busy bank holiday Monday and well kept beer. The puddings were very good.
