Went for a pre theatre meal. I was really surprised by this branch which has to be the best that I have visited recently. Well executed dishes served by (extremely) hard working and pleasant staff. We really enjoyed the Calamari and the olives (drinks nibbles) were much better than I would have expected. On the basis of this visit I would go back (significantly better than our previous "usual" -Carluccio's Stratford-upon-Avon)

Atrocious service, no knowledge of ingredients for a chosen dish as allergy to chilli, paprika and citrus, because it was bought in ready made and the chefs/manager have never checked. Waitress was rude and abrupt in her service to us. Manageress very unprofessional when answering our queries calling each of us 'darling' Had to wait 20 mins for the last main on our table which ment the others had finished theirs. When paying the bill prompted by the card machine about paying gratitudes, my respine was.. I don't think so... the waitress threw down the receipt! Spoke to the manager... we won't be coming back here !
