I had one session with Ian, in which he suggested I could have ADHD and autism, then I had to reschedule my second appointment due to falling ill unexpectedly (I let him know on the same day but in advance of the appointment). I was more than happy to pay for this as cancellation policy was made clear. I apologised for the inconvenience and he asked what dates I can rebook, which I offered a handful (this correspondence was 30/03) it has been two weeks and I have heard nothing. Our appointments were supposed to be weekly, but he just took my payment for the appointment I couldnt attend (70) and ghosted me. I think its really irresponsible to suggest I have learning difficulties in my first appointment and then just leave me hanging with no response to my emails. I have completely lost faith in this service and will be seeking therapy with another clinician going forwards. Be careful starting therapy with Ian if youre in a difficult place because I experienced unprofessionalism and this left me feeling a lot worse. If I was at a different point in my journey I would not have had the confidence to find a new therapist after this experience.

I cannot recommend Ian enough. I found the idea of talking to someone uncomfortable and had avoided it in the past. However after my first meeting with Ian he made me feel really comfortable and I was able to open up to him. Over the 6 months working with Ian I really feel my life has changed and I now understand myself much better and why I have been the way I was. Ian is very empathetic, a great listener and helped me by explaining everything in an excellent way, then helping me with techniques and "homework" projects to aid me. It was like having a top level professional but also a kind friend at the same time. If your contemplating therapy please give Ian an opportunity to work with you, you won't regret it. Im so glad I did and am extremely grateful for all his expert help and what he has done for me.

I had very useful and productive therapy sessions with Ian. Opening up can be very tricky but he made me feel comfortable to do so from the beginning. His approach is sensitive and compassionate and done with utmost professionalism and sensitivity. I started to feel an improvement in my wellbeing after a few weeks and have adopted many of the techniques I learnt from the sessions in my every day life that continue to help me. I would highly recommend Ian as a therapist. Thank you for all your work.

I have been lucky enough to have Ian in my life for the last 8 months. It has been life changing in so many ways. His empathy alone has helped me so much , coupled with excellent advice and coping mechanisms to deal with the world. I cannot recommend Ian highly enough and struggle to find the right words to explain the enormous difference it has made to me.

Ian was recommended to me through the medical profession. It was a big step to take forward to pour out my heart and soul to a stranger. However in no time at all i was made to feel welcome and at ease. Showed tremendous compassion and was very understanding and non-judgmental. He allowed me to express myself yet at the same time give me some personal well being tools to help assist with every day life. I truly do not think i would be the person i am today without his assistance. Anyone in any doubt please read my review. This guy is amazing. Thank you Ian for all you have done and continue to do for me.
