He had tonsillitis and an ear infection and was crying his heart out because he was in pain. He was not comforted at all and was let to cry until I came to pick him up (not knowing he is unwell) and as soon as Tracy saw me coming, he picked him up. He had no voice the following day because he cried and scream so much.
There was a new boy in the 2+ year room (movers I believe it was) that only started. He was very upset and kept hitting the door with his head, hand, kicked it and crying desperately for his mum and dad. No one reassured him that his mum/dad will come back later in the day, he was left to cry and cry until he would self settle.
If you are happy for your child to be ignored and left to cry their little heart out when in pain and need support the most, this is the right nursery for you.
