I honestly can't rate this company high enough, the service has been amazing and I would recommend them to anyone. My son was born with a rare motor neurone disorder and has an NHS wheelchair. He also has a feeding tube into his intestines, a drainage bag and an ileostomy bag. He's recently started a mainstream secondary school and I'm sure most people can imagine that this is a lot to deal with, it's not easy being "different" at that age. For a while now he has been desperate to have some independence. To be able to travel to school himself, to go and meet his friends in the park, even just to be able to move about the school grounds without relying on other people to push him. Through a referral from our wheelchair provider, a wonderful charity got involved to help us raise the money for a Benoit system that turns a manual wheelchair into an electric chair. I contacted John at Active Mobility and he has been fantastic from start to finish. He got us the best price for the system and arranged for the chair to be collected from our home for the parts to be fitted. He kept me updated during the time that they had the wheelchair and then he dropped it back off to our home personally, patiently demonstrating to us all how to use & maintain it. By this, I really do mean patiently - my son was extremely excited, his siblings were also very enthusiastic, and even our dogs were overly happy to see him! We had a slight problem with the system a couple of days later (not the fault of Active Mobility) and I messaged John. He got back to me straight away and helped us to resolve it. He even offered to send someone to help us personally if we needed. This level of service is exceptional, and I am so pleased that I found this company.
