I called this morning to get a valve replacement and they fitted it this afternoon in about half an hour. I always get a little nervous going into garages by myself but the customer service was outstanding and will definitely choose National Tyres in future and would highly recommend. Thank you so much!

Avoid... have been using halfords for years. They changed management and it is not the same. Halfords was a disappointment. Tried Natiinal tyres in Stratford to see if they were any better. After keeping the car for over 2 hours and receiving an email stating that the car was serviced and Mot, and ready for collection, when atvthe depot they had not even touched the car. The refund was not even processed, we had to chase it days later with very rude and uninterested staff. We could not book another garage as it was a Saturday, so due to their incompetence, we were unable to use the car for a week. Avoid...

Service was fair though a little expensive. The fact that National Tyres is part of the Halfords Group makes booking very confusing as I prefer the staff at the Halfords service premises.

A cautionary note to anyone using National Tyres of Stratford on Avon for MOT. My car's MOT was initialled failed by National Tyres as the offside headlight beam was incorrectly aligned. According to the MOT assessor, the light beam was not adjustable, so the complete integrated LED unit would need replacing at a cost of approximately 1000! The quoted cost seemed excessive for what appeared to be a simple beam alignment issue. Having consulted the car manufacturer for a second opinion, I was advised that the headlight beam could in fact be easily adjusted and only required minor adjustment to pass the MOT (I was told this was not possible by National Tyres). On return to National Tyres, I challenged the MOT test result, had the car rechecked and headlight beam realigned (this involved a 90 second adjustment by the technician). MOT now passed, I challenged the supposed "1000 required fix they had quoted me earlier, which actually required minor adjustment to resolve and AT NO COST. I also couldn't help but notice that other vehicles had failed their MOTs for similar reasons. Is this company trying to upsell unnecessary solutions to get cars through their MOT? The staff and MOT assessor at this company were rude and confrontational when I challenged the validity of the MOT test and their proposed solution. I shall not be using National Tyres of Stratford on Avon again and urge customers to check the logic of any pricey solutions they try to get you to pay for.
