        What a wonderful shop. Mr. Mrs Thornton are so nice. We could have listened to Mr Thornton all day telling us all about his products. I bought 3 pieces of glass and would have bought more but will leave that for another visit. If you are looking for a special gift for yourself, family or friends this is the place to go.

        I had last visited this store 25 yrs ago and today I went back while visiting so lovely to see the same owners a beautiful shop and they are so lovely. Please visit them keep them going x

        Popped into this shop today and was delighted by the beautiful pottery and the very enthusiastic Mr Thornton. He was extremely helpful and told myself and my daughter about his wonderful books. We bought a couple of pieces of gorgeous pottery and will definitely be visiting there again. Highly recommended .

        We have bought some beautiful things from Thornton's in the past .We are down sizings so we only window shopping .But due to the virtue of its location it is a word renown shop.and people from all over the world remember with fondness .when l was in Asheville NC My host had several items they bought from this shop.goes to show .
