Oxfam Shop

Visiting from Australia, this bookshop reminded me of some that have now gone from the larger cities - an eclectic range and sometimes eccentric organisation. This ensures the casual visitor can spend several hours with their head in a book on a subject completely unrelated to their reason for visiting (this is a good thing). Reasonable prices, friendly staff. Nice that there is a tea shop inside, too.

As with all Oxfam shops, every penny is squeezed out of customers. Some items are far too expensive.

Staff work extremely hard to make the shop the best it can be. Well priced goods and products which support good causes. Excellent presentation of stock plus very helpful and friendly staff. Also they have some good volunteers on Wednesdays and Fridays
