Cash machine did not give me my cash and swallowed my card despite removing funds from my account. Staff were not helpful and did nothing.

Very disappointed lately, the place seems very understaffed at times...when it's actually open. I withdraw coins for personal use often, but it always seems like a challenge. I was once asked if I had pre-ordered them. "It's for the laundrette, it's not business money..." What the hell has happened to business hours opening? I arrived at 3.45pm to find it had closed at 3.30pm. NatWest are going down the drain as far as I'm concerned, it's a shame because they were once a bank that I trusted.

I cannot praise enough a member of your staff called Mrs. Sharon Hughes. I came into the Stratford branch with a very confused friend of mine who suffers from Parkinson's Disease. Mrs. Hughes gave her every attention, treating her with kindness and efficiency a dedication to her post so rarely seen these days. National Westminster Bank should treasure such an employee who does more for their imagine than any national advertising.
