Henley Street Antiques Centre

It's a very nice antique shop, I spent a long and pleasant time looking at all the varied things. I particularly liked the bone china, paintings and various little things. It's opposite Shakespeare's birthplace so easy to find. It's worth exploring and there is a lot to surprise you.

Lots of dealers in different spaces. Not massive amounts of high class antiques...if you enjoy rummaging through lots of bits n bobs for hidden 'treasure' definitely worth a mooch around. Quite good for paintings and prints of varying quality. Good second hand vinyl section.

Was enjoying a browse when I just caught some small chess pieces, knocked 2 or 3 over so I put them upright.. Then a woman came in and started picking up the pieces and slamming them down in the correct square which apparently I hadn't managed to do.. Felt very uncomfortable as every room I visited from then on she was there and I felt as if I was being watched.. Being an ex police officer it didn't sit very well with me!!! I definitely won't be returning

Lots to see and fun to browse the display cabinets, good mix of items to please most collectors too. Worth a visit.
