Laundry Quarter

Due to machine malfunction at home took a couple of loads to the laundrette today. Being a bit of a novice I was so grateful to June and her daughter for their assistance in using the machines and also providing change for them. Washing cleaned and dried perfectly. 5 per standard load and 1 per 6 minutes for the dryer.

I was lucky to catch the lady for change. Good range of machines but driers expensive and not very effective.

Very clean, comfortable laundromat. I was visiting from the US, and the owner, June, kindly made change for me and showed me the best way to use the machines. It ended up being a pleasant hour chatting with her and reading a novel, instead of the chore I'd been dreading. She was equally courteous and helpful to everyone who came in. You don't expect laughter and good conversation in a laundromat, but everyone seemed happy to be there and left smiling. They also have drop-off washing and ironing service. Highly recommend!
