SUE ADCOCK Garden & Landscape Design

Our garden was laid out during the 50's by the original owners of the house. It had been modified over the years without any co-ordinated plans. We took the opportunity after completing a kitchen and sun room extension to redesign the garden. Sue prepared a number of alternative designs based on her vision of how best to achieve the gardens potential. She was very perceptive in recognising the changes that had to be made to improve the aspect spaciousness and year round colour displays for the borders. She had wide appreciation of the types of plants and trees available and suitable for the various places in the garden. Lacking the knowledge of garden design and suitable plants we were unsure of some of Sue's suggestions in the first instance. We soon began to realise that her experience, knowledge, artistic flair and quality approach to implement the chosen design made sense and we ended up with a delightful end solution. We have seen a full years cycle with changing colours as the various plants bloom at different times throughout the season and can now appreciate the garden's potential which gives us such enormous pleasure.
