Another great stay at this hotel, great friendly staff, always so helpful. Comfy beds, clean and tidy. Walkability: Easy access to the town and boating rivers.

The hotel was good value for money due to the price of a family room and its location. It's is only a few minutes walk from the town centre which is great. Bu as for the hotel itself, the only 4 star thing about it is its exterior. It is a lovely looking building but the rooms are extremely dated and were not the cleanest. There was a hole in the bathroom door and cobwebs. Marks all over the walls. The beds were very uncomfortable. The TV was dated. To be honest once you're past the reception, the hotel immediately becomes 3 star (and that's generous) paying the little extra will get you much nicer hotels in the same vicinity.
