We booked online for the restaurant during the day for dinner and we were not disappointed at all. We were seated at a good size table for two in the restaurant section and found the staff to be very polite, attentive and knowledgeable. We started with the Breaded Brie & Scotch Egg and this was a nice opening starter, tasty and not too heavy. We both ordered the Sirloin steak cooked Medium. Mine was absolutely done to perfection while my partner had a slight bit of fat to it and slightly more cooked but she doesn't like to see blood so it was good. My only gripe would be there were way too many peppercorns in the sauce. The pice de rsistance was the Hot Chocolate Fudge Sundae which was also recommended by the waiter and it did not disappoint. We wanted to go back the following night just to have this! With 3 glasses of wine and water, the bill came to more than 3 figures but we didn't leave feeling hungry or hard done by. We would definitely visit again in the future.

We felt pampered from start to finish. Lukasz helped us with everything we needed, taking our bags to the room, replacing the pillows when we asked him to, and being overall our "guardian angel" throughout the stay. The room was clean and well taken care of. The building and the rooms have great atmosphere. A mini breakfast with cornflakes, fruit, croissants and coffee/tea is included even if you don't pay for main breakfast. We had a great stay. If we ever return to Stratford, no doubt that's where we'll be staying. Noteworthy details: The staff are amazing, and ukasz in particular does an excellent job. We felt really well taken care of.
