Enjoyed our visit at the Orbit. We booked to do the slide as well as the viewing. There are plenty of lockers here, and you don't need a 1 coin for them (they provide tokens). We went straight up to the 1st floor to do the slide. There was a short queue when we went. You are provided with protective elbow pads and head gear. You have the option of attaching a Go Pro camera as well (at a price). Once done, we ditched the protective gear and then went back up to the 2nd floor to see the views of London. The slide was good fun...be prepared for some sharp twists and turns! The views from the 2nd were great. Overall, it was a very good experience at the Orbit. The only thing is everything does look as though it could do with a bit of TLC and it does feel a little overpriced (try and get 2 for 1 tickets if you can...worth a look online for deals). The Orbit already looks a bit dated (it's only 11 years old)....however we received a friendly welcome from all so I would definitely recommend a visit.

I have been trying to book my tickets since Christmas as a family member gifted myself and my partner this experience, however we have had no such luck. We have tried emailing, phoning and texting the company but have heard nothing back since December. We are totally disappointed in this companys lack of communication and customer service. Upon reading more recent reviews it appears the slide is up and functioning, leaving me slightly confused as to why not one single person is capable of answering the telephone or email. We live far from London and so do not want to make the effort of travelling to the slide to find out its fully booked, hence our frustration. I hope someone from the company at least acknowledges this review as we were so excited to spend the day up in London but however have felt repeatedly let down by poor management and customer service.
