Stratford Post Office

Lots of counters which is good but the guy serving me was unfriendly and rude.

Never in my life have I encountered such rude members of staff. To top it all of the manager sazzad was the rudest of them all. This isnt an isolated incident, the two customers in front were also less than impressed by the staffs attitude. The lady who served me refused to give me her name so I cannot name and shame her in this review. I simply came in on a Saturday afternoon to deposit because the banks closed early. The lady told me after 3:30 no cash deposits. That is totally fine however there is no signs in the store or anything online that states this. As I was explaining this I was told by her to get out the way because I was blocking the queue. She always told me that i should speak to the manager if I have a problem so I did . I waited in his queue the two women in front of me both had arguments with the manager about his rude attitude . Now as I spoke to him calmly I told him what time do deposits stop he said 3pm on Saturdays I pointed out that the female member of staff said 3:30. I calmly asked which one is it ? 3pm or 3:30 and also to him to bare in mine Ive been here for 30/40 minutes waiting. He then turned into a rage. I feel like he took out the frustration of the previous customer on me? On top of that the lady who gave me incorrect information decided to come over to his desk and start shouting at me to get out the shop? I also had a member of staff who Ive never seen before try to get into my face. The whole experience was totally unacceptable and unprofessional especially from management. I asked for an apology for the attitude and the false information and was told there was no way I would be getting one. I did no raise my voice at any point but for some reason they thought it was okay to scream at a costumer? I literally done a deposit at 5pm the day before ? So the whole hour before they close was a lie

The customer service at Stratford Post office is fabulous. He helped me a lot and I was able to get my son's BRP. Fantastic, needless to say but your service is really awesome .

They should really put some automated machines in there for drop off to relieve the staff. Always completely manic in there and never enough staff present, honestly feel sorry for them!

Always a big que despite having many counters, but the most worrying thing is the staff try to up-sell you the their ParcelForce services rather than Royal Mail...which are more expensive. Twice I went in to send a parcel second class and twice had to argue with the staff so that they would send it for the price I knew it should be.
