I have had a horrible experience with L&Q Lettings and I wouldn't recommend their services to anyone. I had booked an apartment in the first week of January by paying 1 weeks rent and was supposed to move in mid-Feb. The move in date was moved ahead twice and I still don't know if I'll get the apartment anytime soon. The lettings coordination team has absolutely NO information of what is happening with the property and are extremely poor with communications. Every 2-3 days I have to call my 'Lettings coordinator' to check the status of the property however she has NEVER proactively called me to share an update. It is absolutely ridiculous the way L&Q is managing the void works in their apartments and their property managers have absolutely no idea what work is going on in their own property. I am scared to think what would happen if I do take this apartment and there is a maintenance issue later that requires L&Q's support. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a lettings company and I'll make sure that everyone in my network is aware of it. I am still waiting for some one from L&Q to come back and tell me if the apartment will be ready by even the end of March. I have never heard of apartment void works that take more than 2 months to complete and even if it takes that long, at least the people involved know the estimated date for completion. L&Q has made a mockery of my time and my need for an apartment in London. Mar 16th, 2023
