The receptionist staff at Liberty Bridge Road Practice are unprofessional, rude, impatient and unhelpful. This has been my experience with this practice for the past 2 years with no change. They are impolite when they pick up the phone, raise their voice at you for no reason, and just today the first receptionist I spoke to hung up on me for no apparent reason. She did not call me back. So I called back and the second receptionist was super unclear and did not know what to do with my request (asked how to get a form signed by my GP) so she had to take my details to ask her supervisor. This never happened. Again no call. Surely that is a task covered in their training? I've tried emailing the practice but I was told 2 days was too early to receive a response back & that the admin team are really behind. I should check back in a few weeks time! It costs nothing to be polite, patient and kind and I don't know why the staff here are just so deeply unhappy to be there and help people who usually don't want to be a bother and definitely don't want to be unwell in the first place. There's always an issue with staff not recording details accurately or just not responding at all. This actually prevents people from getting basic timely medical care. The last thing you need when you're sick is someone saying "why are you here" or shouting DATE OF BIRTH at you when you call or arrive at the practice. Adding this after a return visit: Costs for the GP to fill out a form for private consultant as NHS has unspecified waiting times - 40 cash only + you have to go in person to reception. Cost for GP to provide a sick note for work - 20 cash only I'd avoid this practice at all costs.

I am a clinician working in primary care nearby. I truly dont understand the triage system, myself and my partner had submitted e-consults for our inquiries. Both of us got a reply the next day by locum GPs that they either signposted us to secondary care or filled in the questionnaires which already was answered in the e-consult form. And there is NO way you can respond directly to that assigned GP. Instead you need to RESTART the whole process again. Plus the reception team has not been very friendly and helpful. I have already changed my GP practice. Good luck everyone.

Will leave referral letters unreviewed for weeks. You will need to ring multiple times to chase the practice to read letters they receive about your care from community/hospital teams.

Wouldnt even take my dog to that surgery. If I can rate them 0 I would. If you care for own health, avoid this surgery. Im curious of how many people theyve put in danger because of their incompetence and laziness.
