I was passing by this kiosk, when a lady approached me to offer me a free sample. Then, very quickly, she grabbed my hands and started applying products to them. I didn't even have the chance to refuse. Although she was kind, she was also a bit pushy to buy products. She said that the brand was celebrating ten years, so they had a discount, but even so, the products are very expensive. When I told her that I can't afford it cause I don't work, she made a discount in this one that I told her I liked the most. Reading some other reviews, I suspect that they very often offer a discount, so their products in general must be overpriced, therefore they make bargains in order to sell anything they can.

I was walking through Westfield Stratford when I was antagonised by one of your employees who is a curly hair Mediterranean looking woman who works at Soap & co/ Sakare. She shouted across the shop floor at me by saying, dont give me dirty looks and run away from me, in a very harsh tone, then she started laughing at me. I turned back to look at her because I was so confused, since I was in a rush and didnt even notice her at first. Ive worked in high end retail and I know for a fact that is no way to speak to a customer. We are all going through personal problem so why bully someone because they are, ignoring you. If she continues with this antagonising behaviour no sales will be made unfortunately. Very disappointed as I felt super anxious after hearing that. Extremely unprofessional behaviour..

I was passing through Westfield and had headphones on when a man approached me and said something that I couldn't quite hear because of my headphones. Before I could ask him to repeat what was said he had grabbed my hand and was testing out the nail buffer before leading me over to a sink to test out more products. I found it hard to understand what was being said due to the noise from the surrounding shops/music that was being played, and the assistant themselves was speaking quite quickly, so was mostly just nodding and not really saying much because I felt uncomfortable. I noted that none of the prices were displayed around the stall and immediately the assistant went into sales patter mode and wouldn't take no for an answer, offering deal after deal in an attempt to get me to purchase something. Wanting to get away quickly, I agreed, though as the transaction was processing I immediately felt guilty and wanted to return the items. The assistant then put the bag of goods on a chair and told me to sit down so he could test some more products and attempted to get to purchase these too but I declined. Once the assistant had finished I worked up the courage to say I no longer wanted the products and wanted my money back. I appreciate that I should have said something sooner but it was a very overwhelming situation that happened quickly and at some points I felt like I couldn't get a word in edgeways. I knew this was never going to be something that went down well, but the attitude of the assistant completely changed. He told me that I had ruined his day and he 'may as well kill himself now' and that he only offered me the facial (ie the attempt to get me to purchase more product, not sure applying a mask to half of the face counts as a facial) because I had made a purchase. I tried to give the man some money as a thanks for their customer service, but was told "tips are worthless to me". I know I am part of the problem here and should have had more confidence to say no, but I do feel that there is some responsibility of the assistants not to prey on people who are vulnerable. Upon reading the reviews for this company and Sakare, I am glad I refunded the items and was fortunate enough to even get my money back. Will definitely be avoiding them again in the future.
