Calamari portions a little small, the lentil pasta was delicious as was the prawn linguine. Ginger beer at 3.7 was a little steep. Seeing a waitress brush food off the tables and onto the floor wasnt great. Staff werent especially attentive and I had to call people over to order & for the bill.

This was our first visit to Ask Italian, we don't have one in Cambridge. We didn't have to wait long for a table and were given a complimentary shot of homemade lemonade. Service was reasonably quick considering it was Saturday evening and very busy. The food was delicious , I opted for the lentil ragu spaghetti which was plentiful and very filling and the most amazing courgette frittes I've ever tried. My partner had the bolognaise ragu with taggeletelli and chips( he always has chips with evening) and was also suitably satisfied. Great food, good friendly service, we will definitely be back for another visit.

(Translated by Google) Ciao ~ Tried this Italian chain restaurant which we can see everywhere in LondonI went to the one located in Westfield Stratford after shopping with my friend. 1. We started with the new Cheese Fondue . The cheese fondue was very rich in flavor and creamy. It was all melt down and came perfectly with the Italian bread bites. The only problem was that the portion of the cheese was not big and was not enough for dipping all the bread. 2.Carne Piccante It was like a huge dumpling It was named Calzone which was a folded pizza originating from Naples. The fillings were some mushroom, ham, beef and red wine ragu, and also some mozzarella. I like the texture of the pizza. But the calzone was already a bit cold when it was served on the table. I would like it more if the mozzarella inside was melted down. 3. Linguine Con Frutti Di Mare It was seafood linguine. That was it. It was no surprise and the seafood was these frozen prawns and mussels. The squid and clams were just normal. 4. Craft Still Lemonade It was quite refreshing. It helped digestion.
