Rooms: Small and average room, just okish for a economical short stay. Nearby activities: Nothing much is around Startford Station is 15 min walk Safety: The main door was always locked and needed the receptionist to open it for us. Walkability: Everything was far away, from food to attractions. Food & drinks: Not available accept tea and juices Noteworthy details: Small space, but they had some cool London architectural graffiti in the hall ways.

It was dirty, unkempt, unhygienic. Smelled of cigar smoke. The bed mattress was slightly slanted toward the head, the bed frame was creaking and moving from the slightest movement. The curtains were smelly, the windows will was damaged by cigarette burns, the curtain rods were dusty and dirty. The bathroom was so filthy that we rather skipped bathing, than using it, the airway was full of dust, the tap had a dirt and limescale ring around it. Also some dirty handprints on the bathroom wall. Also the bedsheet was stained. We only stayed overnight to catch our flight, but for sure would have cancelled my stay if I would have booked for more day. The room was small, well I expected this based on pictures but I didnt expect that much dirtiness and neglect. Also worth to note that Originaly we booked the hotel called Stratford hotel (43 Romford Road, Newham, London, E15 4LY) and they gave us a room in the hotel next door, called Olympus Hotel (this one where I'm writing the review), but both hotels are under the umbrella of OYO Rooms brand, and right next to each other. The guy who did the check-in didn't give any explanation why the change of building/hotels is needed.
