Rooms: Quite a good sized room, but the rates for this hotel is also rather steep by global standards. Nearby activities: Opposite the hotel, is a sainsbury supermarket, so it is super convenient to buy things. Opposite also has restaurants like Santi, Darkhorse and Fish House that opens till 10pm and serve very good food. Walkability: Opposite the westfield shopping mall, yet quite enough. Accessible to the overground, underground, DLR,.... Food & drinks: The breakfast is the same everyday, but service of the Level 1 staff is super good. Their staff checks to make sure all is fine, and the best was Christina, the staff working at the egg section. She is there almost everyday (i wonder when is her weekend) and remembers the orders and sometimes even serve the eggs to your table, if they are ready before you pick up. Noteworthy details: Need to purposely call the housekeeping (but mostly the calls go direct to the reception), to request for things like free bottles of still water, dental kits,.... They should provide a list to let you know what they can provide, instead of us asking them whether they provide or not. Their staff at the reception are friendly and helpful, but some staff are not very familiar with English, so it may take a while to communicate, but they were super nice.
