Checked in Tuesday 25th , family room 157 a night. I asked the receptionist if we could have 10th floor( highest) so the kids could see London. She said she can only do 5th floor. I asked her if we could have a nice view, she said yes youll have a nice view of London from there. Kid were happy but very disappointed when we arrived and all we could see is the storey car park of Westfield. She lied to us! Room was clean but very very tiny, cant move in it felt claustrophobic. Breakfast was okish, you need to order vegan or vegi and wait. Croissants pain au chocolat are not fresh and nice. The staff at the breakfast are very nice and helpful. I could see that they work hard and pay attention to details. Location is very good near next door to Westfield and station but didnt feel safe in the hotel lifts and corridors. Not well frequented. Overall to expensive for what it is.

The location, price and quality of room was great. Faulty hair dryer and poor air conditioning though. Biggest issue was with the staff during a fire alarm. There was a fault with the alarm meaning it was going off every few minutes for almost an hour. Starting at 3:30am! Eventually led to a full evacuation. The staff managing this seemed overwhelmed. One running up the stairs we were going down going "oh my god!" Another holding the assembly point sign outside but making no attempt to check who was/wasn't outside and giving no information or updates to anyone. Oddly enough I have only stayed in this hotel once before about 5 years ago and there was a fire alarm that night too. Much better managed that time though.

Room was lovely but the staffs response to a fire alarm at 3am was ridiculous. Alarm went off about 5 different times, staff were sending concerned people back up to there rooms claiming there was no fire. Staff then decided 5 mins later they were going to evacuate just in case after sending people upstairs telling them it wasn't a fire and was a fault on the system. Staff then sent everyone outside one of them audibly panicking (Manager I think) saying "Oh my god" as he was going by us on the stairs over and over again. No control of the situation and eventually fell to one of the customers to control the situation by directing people because the staff just left us to our own accord which is utterly ridiculous. Staff are in dire need of a refresh in fire safety as according to the fireman it was due to someone smoking in a room. The staff didn't bother to check the source of the alarm!
