Great place to learn how to use IT finish my level 1-2 course and got a better understanding of IT. My tutors sindhu baskaran help me with complete the workbook for the course i was doing would recommend to people who want to learn IT to try the course out.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course and training. It helped me to refresh on some skills and learn many new ones particularly on PP and Excel. I am now far more confident in using applications and the time that I spent at DSS and the coaching, guidance and tips that Martin and Bobby provided have helped me to adapt quickly to using the IT systems and applications in my new job. I am very glad I did this course and am proud to have been part of the training. I am due to be learning MSD 365 in my new role and am already using bespoke applications. DSS has been absolutely fantastic and vital for me in helping me secure a conditional job offer. I applied for a position with the NHS and the application involved writing a strong supporting statement showcasing my abilities and experience. The application involved a lot of quality writing to demonstrate my work and skills and the Digital Skills for Life and Digital Skills for Work courses that I have been taking with DSS have proved to be key in helping me write a very strong supporting statement without any errors and with correct punctuation. Furthermore, the fun computer skills I have been learning with my tutor Martin Hamilton greatly helped me be more efficient in my typing and it did not feel like a chore at all. I also did not feel like I was not getting the full quality of teaching as Martin made sure the communication regarding assignments and teaching classes was constant with a very valuable online tutoring class through Microsoft Teams that was delivered through a video conference call every week. Martin also made sure all my questions and that of other learners were answered and that we knew how to do the required tasks properly. He also communicated regularly through email and any questions were answered promptly through email. I recommend DSS as a teaching course provider to anyone looking to learn and improve their computer skills for professional and everyday purposes and for helping to make job applications.
